Leadership of the mining operation activities including dril and blast, survey, water management , document control, and geotechnical engineering to ensure effective production, quality and timeliness based on set production targets in an efficient, safe and environmentally, in a corporate socially responsible manner.

Responsibilities:
- Control, monitor and liaise with Project Managers to communicate ideas, systems, designs, procedures and standards related to mining operation to ensure the adherence of those new policies
- Control, monitor and liaise with Project Managers in coordinate all technical engineering matters related to Drill and blast activities in mining site
- Control, monitor and liaise with Project Managers in coordinate all technical engineering matters relative to site pit de-watering activities including ensuring prompt supply of specs related to pumps and piping
- Coordinate with Geotechnical Consultants in establishing ground control best practices and monitor stability issues
- Coordinate with Survey Consultants in ensuring well implementation of mine design and data obtained used in planning mining operations including monitoring recovery, productivity and submission of progress claims align with company’s policies and rules.
- Coordinate, monitor and liaise with Project Manager, Procurement and Design staff on document control issues in order to update issues and system in document control.
- Enhance and improve the existing operations and the development of new improvements or initiatives to provide contribution to optimization of mining operation
- Maintain a strong capability in the mine planning software and ensure that staff are similarly up to date with their skills
- Providing technical advice and services to support production activities and reporting
- Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages
- Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimal Bachelor Degree in a mining related to Engineering discipline
- Minimal 4 (four) years of working experience in mining industry, out of which 2 (two) years in Mine Support
- Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications
- Experience in drill/blast and dewatering activities will be an advantage
- Well developed computer skills, including Mine Engineering applications
- Ability to use Mine Planning and Scheduling software including practical application to mining operations
- Good knowledge of best practices in Mining operations
- Good analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English, written and verbal
- Willing to work flexible hours to meet position requirements
- Willing to be placed in any Company location and travel to Project Sites as needed
