Chem Engineer (Polymer based product)
Cikarang (Jawa Barat)
Responsibilities:
- Raw materials specification and sourcing / selection together with Purchasing for corporate project
- Technical liaison with suppliers for follow up sampling process
- Formulation development for new project
- Formulation optimization for product improvements
- Input formulations, maintain and update the raw material and formulation databases
- Provide material specifications for related formulations
- Conduct color matching with supplier and instruct QM lab for incoming check & VT for production trial
- Troubleshoot, investigate and analyze material related problems encountered by customers
- Provide relevant CHEM training internally
- Any other task as deemed appropriate by the Superior.
Requirements:
- Degree in polymer material engineering, or Chemical engineering
- At least 3 years working in new material development
- Have experience polymer material test and analysis
- Experience in polymer extrusion and Injection would be an advantage
- Strong analysis ability, must possess good problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Frequent travelling required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
