Engineer – QHSE & Methods Engineer

Responsibilities:
Main Missions
- Maintain and continually improve the quality assurance system of the personalization centre.
- Responsible for Plant's Health, Safety, Environment and Fire Safety.
- Implement and maintain the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System.
- Ensure HSE and Fire Safety requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with local legislation and ISO 14001 requirements.
Specific Responsibilities
- Review the daily quality control inspection results, and teamwork with perso operation for improvement action.
- Handle any customer or supplier related non-conformances. Lead or support the analysis, and validate the corrective/preventive actions.
- Prepare the weekly and monthly quality reports.
- Provide any QHSE-related training for Staff.
- Conduct any product/process qualification activities.
- Conduct regular internal quality audits and WCE assessment.
- Conduct risk analysis and HSE assessment.
- Ensure compliance and advise on all matters pertaining to the local Safety & Health and Environmental legislations.
- Document and implement any QA-related procedures/instructions.
- Maintain the proper documentation of quality records.
- Continually improve the overall quality assurance system of personalization centre.
- Propose, plan and implement improvements to various departments’ infrastructure and processes for compliance to ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining HSE system document management for ISO 9001, and ISO14001.
- Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities.
- Implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and defective or damaged parts, and assess cost and responsibility.
- Study operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine worker functions and responsibilities.
- Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product.
- Regulate and alter workflow schedules according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times to expedite production operations.
- Permits and Licenses monitoring
- Assume the responsibility of Fire Safety Manager (FSM) of the building.
- To conduct fire drills, table-top exercise (TTE), etc and to evaluate the evacuation procedure for continuous improvement
- Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.
- The job holder shall at all times during the employment with the company, respect and comply with the Gemalto Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental & Security requirements during the performance of his/her duties.
Requirements:
Education
- Graduate in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years of working experience.
- Diploma in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of working experience
- TOEFL Score >= 500 and IELTS >= 6
- Min Green Belt - Six Sigma Certificate is an advantage
Experience Level
- Have manufacturing or quality control working experience.
- Experience with ISO 9001 / 14001 certification and WCE Standardization are an advantage.
- Having knowledge on generating 8D Report is an advantage.
- At least 3 years relevant working experience in Quality & HSE preferably in a semi-conductor manufacturing industry.
- Six Sigma Project is a major obligatory.
